Major interior and building envelope renovation of an existing home in West Hillhurst.
This project involved the redesign of this ideally located home’s upper floor spaces, main floor living spaces, the addition of a gym, and addressing some longstanding, complex water penetration issues, as well as roofing and cladding. The clients had previously worked with us to design and build a fantastic Modern home in the NW. After returning from extended travels, they purchased their current home – one of four unique infill houses developed together in the late 80’s on a quiet street in West Hillhurst. Aside from reconfiguration of existing spaces, specification of finishes, millwork, and lighting, there was extensive collaboration with the builder and owners as demolition proceeded to deal with existing conditions and structure.
